If you happened to click Google Korea on October 9 (which is today), you might find this picture. Can you guess what happened? Well, it’s HANGUL DAY! You know Hangul, right? ^^ Kidding.
So yeah, years ago.. A Great King of Korea named King Sejong successfully created Hangul for all of his people so that Korean nowadays could write their language much more easily. I’m speaking like this here because Hangul is so much easier to read and write comparing to the previous letters that Korean used to use. You know Hanja? Well, practically that’s what they used before Hangul was born and TRUST ME Hanja is a lot more complicated. Thanks GOD that most Korean nowadays don’t use Hanja anymore. IF they still do, I might end up trying hard to study Hanja. Sigh…
